YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER EQUIPMENT
All players are required to have the proper field hockey equipment to partipcate in any BUCS Youth Field Hockey sanctioned game or practice. All players will be provided a field hockey ball from the club at the first practice to keep. We strongly recommend players wear cleats. Equipment must meet the requirements set forth by USA Field Hockey and DELCO Field Hockey. Verification of certification can be checked online at the listing maintained by the independent Safety Equipment Institute (SEI).
FIELD PLAYERS
Field Hockey Stick: Made of wood or composite materials such as fiberglass, kevlar, and carbon
Mouthguard: Must be visible color other than clear or white, self molding (from manufacturers) or custom molded (from dentist)
Shin Guards
Cleats/Turf Shoes (optional)
Eyewear (optional): All girls’ goggles must meet the current ASTM performance standard, F2713, and be SEI certified to be legal for play.

Helmet: NOCSAE certified (with stamp) and secured with chinstrap
Throat Protector (separate from helmet)
