LITTLE FLICKERS is the BUCS Youth Field Hockey developmental program for those in prekindergarten and kindergarten that focuses on "Growing the Game" by exposing the sport of field hockey to our youngest of athletes. 

Held during the Fall Season, our Little Flickers group typically has 1-2 sessions per week. Sessions will introduce players to the rules of the game, teach fundamental skills, and play fun games. We will work with local clubs to schedule at least one play day during the season. As the sessions progress, some players may be also be offered a position playing with our Clinic group in scheduled regular season games.

The home field for BUCS Youth Field Hockey Little Flickers is located at Norwood Lower Park. We play on a GRASS field.  Our season runs until the first week of November, ending with our annual BUCS CUP. 

Required Equipment - field hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard, cleats, field hockey goggles (optional)

A limited number of donated sticks, cleats, and shin guards are available for those in need. Please contact director if interested.
